Royal Links Golf Club |
|
Missed your invitation to play in the British Open? Not to worry, you can play 18 of the best holes of the Open rotation courses right here in Las Vegas at Royal Links. Royal Links Golf Club was created to honor the rich tradition and history of the game of golf. It is one of the most unique playing experiences in the country. This Links style course faithfully recreates holes inspired by the British Open rotation such as "The Road Hole" and "Hell Bunker" from the old course at St. Andrews and "The Postage Stamp" from Royal Troon. Other courses in the loop include Carnoustie, Turnberry, Royal Liverpool, Prestwick, Royal Lytham, Muirfield and Royal Birkdale. Forecaddies are available and recommended as many of the holes are truly Scottish in design and flair, and have deep, hidden bunkers and hazards. Monuments were erected at various points throughout the course indicating spots where great moments in British Open history took place. A Champions Wall is erected near the practice green honoring American champions of the British Open. This isn't your typical round of golf, and whether you are into the history of the game or just want a shot at Tiger Woods course record of 67 (Feb., 2001), Royal Links will provide you with some very memorable golfing.

Stallion Mountain Country Club - Secretariat Golf Course
Secretariat (also known as the West Course) is the most challenging of the three distinctive courses at Stallion Mountain Country Club. Like its namesake, Secretariat is not for the faint of heart. It requires long accurate drives, precise iron shots and a deft putting touch when played from the Championship tees. For those desiring less challenge, Secretariat plays very friendly from the middle tees. Tiered fairways and greens are protected by strategically placed bunkers and water plays an important role in the overall aesthetics of the course. In 2001 new greens were added featuring TiffEagle putting surfaces.

Stallion Mountain Country Club - Man O'War Golf Course
Man O'War (also known as the South Course) was the first course built at Stallion Mountain Country Club. Man O'War hosted the 1991 Las Vegas Invitational PGA Tour event. Siena Golf Club
Course description:You'll have fun, fun, fun when you take your clubs to Siena Golf Club. Lee Schmidt and Brian Curley, co-designers of the layout, had the goal of building a challenging yet very playable layout. Their mission was accomplished with the Siena design that takes you over rolling fairways and greens that are guarded by large bunkers. In fact, 97 bunkers cover the course. Plus, six water features enhance the beauty and challenge of the design. Just the right combination of desert landscape and lush greenery creates a unique beauty. There's enough variety in the design, and just enough trouble, to keep you focused. The Siena Golf Club is in the age-qualified community of Siena in Summerlin, Las Vegas' largest master-planned community. A wide range of activities in addition to golf are available in the social center and state-of-the-art fitness center.
